A keyword is a single word—it should not be more than one word—that you present across all platforms. People send this keyword in a text message to your communication code (like a short code or toll free number). That keyword is created in a group in our software. When people send that keyword to your communication code, they get added to that group with a compliance message and an auto reply message, which enables you to communicate with them with info specific to that group until they reply STOP. You can have multiple keywords for different campaigns.
What are texting groups?
SMS Groups are segmented groups in our software that contain audience members who have opted in to receive communication from you about a certain topic. Groups enable you to send the right SMS message to the right audience, avoiding sending unnecessary messages to unintended subscribers. This is essential for effective SMS marketing campaigns.
Why does unlimited keywords and groups matter?
